Studio work
Recent work made in my studio.
Returning to What Was, 12”x12” acrylic, marker, water soluble mixed media on paper adhered to panel, 2025
This work is part drawing, part daydream, part uncertain architecture. A cityscape on the edge of something larger. It could be ocean, memory, a machine. Bits of orange act as signals or caution, while dark blues and reds build layered routes through the composition. The panel’s surface is a place where thought and time loop and repeat.
Banners on Walnut Street In Philadelphia
I have my work printed on banners on Walnut St. From 16th St to Rittenhouse Square in Philly. I am so honored to be included in this fun public art intervention organized by Center City District. They commissioned a diverse roster of eight local artists to each create one design for this “welcome back” effort. The talented women who designed these original works of art are Dora Cuenca, Molly Egan, Nilé Livingston, Karina Puente, Angela Rio, Miriam Singer, Gerri Spilka and Gina Triplett.

Mural in Progress 2020: New Courtland
My upcoming mural installation on Compass Self Storage at 1831 West Allegheny Ave in Philadelphia. This is a community mural project with New Courtland Senior Services and The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. Here are some photos of people that have helped me paint this mural in the past year. I am thinking about them while I finish painting in my quarantine studio at home due to the COVID outbreak in Pennsylvania.
